Thit Amazing the Space amach ar an 21ú Meán Fómhair, Lá Idirnáisiúnta na Síochána. Tháinig daltaí Ghaelcholáiste Dhoire agus 5,000 dhaoine óga eile i gcionn a chéile ag Ionad Taispeántais Eikon, an Cheis Fhada, le tábhacht Lá Idirnáisiúnta na Síochána a chur ina luí ar an phobal.

Gaelcholáiste Dhoire pupils were delighted to participate in Amazing the Space, the biggest youth-led peace-building initiative to be held in the north.
The event held to coincide with the UN International Day of Peace, saw Gaelcholáiste Dhoire pupils along with 5,000 other young people, coming together at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Maze/Long Kesh, to send out a strong statement on the importance of International Peace Day.
Peace pledges written by pupils of Gaelcholáiste Dhoire and other schools tell of their hope for peace and were unveiled at the event, alongside performances of music, drama and visual arts from local talent. The Gaelcholáiste Dhoire Choir were one of the schools invited to sing at the event and they performed an Irish Language version of Danny Boy admirably.
