We are very proud of our pupils who received their GCSE results today. Congratulations! Year 10 pupils received their GCSE Irish results and a number of Year 11 pupils received their Additional Maths results. Well done everyone!
We are delighted to welcome 56 new first year pupils joining us in the castle this year. Yesterday they met with their form teachers and classmates and took the first step in their secondary school journey.
And that's a wrap. All good things must come to an end. The GCD Summer Scheme was fantastic, from start to finish. The pupils had great fun at The Lake in Kilrea and learned how to programme robots as part of our Scéim Samhraidh.
The pupils had a great week of competition and craic during Gaelcholáiste Dhoire's summer scheme this week. The pupils had a great day out at The Jungle, as part of the scheme! We are looking forward to more fun next week!
We are delighted to announce that Brídín, a Gaelcholáiste Dhoire student, has been selected as the winner of an art competition with UNISON “All We Need Is Lunch”. Brídín received a voucher for her amazing effort. Congratulations!

Year 8 boys took part in the Gaelcholáistí competition on Friday in Belfast against Coláiste Feirste. They didn't win the cup but they had a great occasion and our student, Peter Pio, was chosen as the man of the match.
Year 11 had a French lunch to celebrate the end of the school year!
Well done to the Year 10/11 girls who won a great camogie match against St Mary's, Limavady today!
Good luck to Year 12 who completed GCSE courses today. We had a party to end 5 successful, enjoyable years at school. We wish you all the best for the future and we look forward to seeing many of you next year.
